| Event | A mid-level game. Characters with Lvl 3 Realms will be considered, but ref discretion is final. The event will involve getting dirty, so if you don’t like either make-up or mud, please consider crewing instead. |

The plot / player background
The Bright Empire of Melanonia once spanned the known world; majestic, eternal, inviolate. From jewelled towers, sorcerer-kings decreed the fate of whole races. From impossibly delicate citadels of ivory and obsidian, mage-queens opened doors to the Multiverse and communed with extra-planar beings of impossible power. Once, the Melanonians could call themselves the Lords of The Earth. Once, but no longer... Now the last decaying colonies of the Empire in Tethic have been overcome, crushed beneath the booted feet of those they once enslaved, shattered in a bizarre and strangely poetic twist of fate. Those that were once the undisputed Lords over all have been chained. A new civilization has awoken, a strange new breed of Orc has arisen, and a new empire has been born: The Ungash. They have spread like wildfire, destroying all those who did not flee before them, breaking the supposed eternal peace of their former masters, liberating their people from centuries of bondage. It seems that the time of the Bright Empire is over.
The fight is not over for all, however. A small force has been formed, a group of patriots who have harkened to the battle cry of a deposed Melanonian lord. The Ungash Empire is huge, but Empires require leaders and leaders can be killed. What is required is a small elite force, a band of dedicated hardened warriors who through stealth and cunning will sneak behind enemy lines, travel through hostile country and finally infiltrate the regional high command in a place where until now only Ungash have dared tread. And there hopefully will be found a final solution.
You are invited to aid a Melanonian lord in his attempt to enact bloody vengeance on the fiendish orcs that have over run his homeland. This will be a daring and sneaky mission requiring subtlety and cunning along with the usual brutal violence you’ve come to expect from the Treasures of His Kingdom team. All interested parties please apply to Lord Kal, presently enjoying tea and strumpets at The Pampered Elf Tea Rooms in central Danar. Rates of pay and expenses negotiable.
